Nieuwe beelden Kick-Ass

In de nieuwe Empire zijn enkele nieuwe beelden te zien van Kick-Ass. Ook staat het titelpersonage, gespeeld door Aaron Johnson, prominent op de cover van het tijdschrift.

Op één foto zien we Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) die Frank D'Amico (Mark Strong) confronteert. Het andere kiekje toont Kick-Ass, Hit Girl en Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage).

Regisseur Matthew Vaughn over de film:

"The whole movie's about taking the things that we're familiar with and turning them on their head, without losing touch with what people like or love about superhero comic-book movies. There's nothing in this movie that couldn't, in theory, happen in real life. If you took an 11 year-old girl and trained the hell out of her every fucking day for six years, there's a chance she could do most of that stuff. It's not likely, but it's possible. Every costume was designed, I said, 'Make sure this could be made by some guy who's been buying stuff on the internet'."
