De nieuwe film van David Lynch, Inland Empire- dat een leven begon te leiden als project op zijn website- is bijna af. De film, dat zonder script begon, is momenteel in 'post production'. Details over het plot worden nog steeds in het vage gehouden.
Het enige dat we weten is dat het een mysterieus verhaal is over een vrouw in problemen (ook het uitgangspunt van Lynch's Mulholland Drive) met in de hoofdrollen Julia Ormond, Jeremy Irons, Laura Dern, Harry Dean Stanton en Justin Theroux.
