In een interview met ShockTillYouDrop heeft make-upartiest Wayne Toth verklaard dat Michael Myers in H2, de sequel op de Halloween-reboot, gedurende driekwart van de film zonder masker zal te zien zijn. Naar het einde van de film toe zal Myers (rol van Tyler Mane) een nieuw masker opzetten dat door Toth omschreven wordt al "iets helemaal anders dan we tot nu toe gezien hebben".

Wayne Toth: "There are a couple different versions of the mask, but none of themi are the same mask from the first film. He wanted to take them a step further, even though one of them is basically supposed to be the last mask. We've changed it anyway. Then towards the end of the film is the current version of the mask which is a lot different from any of them we've seen. People are going to be surprised when they see it. It's going to thrown the Myers fans for a loop."

H2 speelt zich af twee jaar na de Halloween-remake. Volgens geruchten over het scenario zou Myers zich in die periode in de wildernis hebben verschanst, wat hem in H2 een 'vuile look' zal opleveren.
