Het lijkt erop dat Timur Bekmambetov, regisseur van Wanted, werk gaat maken van The Casebook of Victor Frankenstein, de verfilming van een hervertelling van Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. Dit werd geschreven door Peter Ackroyd en kwam in oktober uit in de vorm van een roman. Hieronder een officiële beschrijving van het boek:
