De afgelopen tijd was het druk rondom The Amazing Spider-Man. We zagen een aantal posters van de film, en een blik op Lizard. Vandaag ging de officiële website van de film online, waarop een tiental nieuwe afbeeldingen van de film te vinden was. Daarnaast werd er een belangrijk gerucht bevestigd.

The Amazing Spider-Man zal namelijk de eerste film worden in een nieuwe filmserie die het verhaal van Peter Park toont. Ditmaal zal het geheel een stuk duisterder zijn, lijkt het. Like most teenagers his age, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he to be the person he is today. In his journey to put the pieces of his past together he uncovers a secret that his father held... a secret that will ultimately shape his destiny as Spider-Man. This is the first in a series of movies that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story.
