Vanaf volgende week draait Shazam! Fury of the Gods in de Nederlandse bioscopen. De film is ondertussen vertoond aan Amerikaanse critici en zij laten hun eerste reacties nu achter op Twitter.
Eerste reacties
Zoals te verwachten zijn de eerste reacties erg positief. Dit is opvallend genoeg redelijk normaal, aangezien in de reacties vaak gefocust wordt op de positieve kant van de film. Dit is mogelijk in ruil voor een goedgevulde goodiebag van de distributeur. De latere recensies willen namelijk nog wel eens een ander beeld laten zien dan de eerste 'online reacties'.
Duidelijk is wel dat die reacties dus positief zijn. De wat minder schreeuwende reactie van recensent John Nguyen bevat onder meer dat het een "prima opvolger" is van de eerste film. Er is "genoeg humor, actie en emotie". Hij zou zelfs willen dat de film langer zou duren vanwege de vele personages.
Shazam: Fury of the Gods is a fun-filled adventure that's a solid follow-up to the first film. There is plenty of humor, action, and heart, and it's always a treat to see the family together again. I wish the movie was longer since there are a lot of characters.
