Tijdens de Amerikaanse premiere van Yes Man met Jim Carrey heeft Warner Bros directeur Alan Horn zich uitgelaten over de nieuwe verfilmingen van de comics Batman, Superman, Green Lantern en Justice League van DC Comics.

Alan Horn is duidelijk over het vervolg op The Dark Knight van Christopher Nolan: "We've been talking to Chris Nolan and what we have to do is get him in the right place and have him tell us what he thinks the notion might be for a great story, but Chris did a great job and we'd love to have him come back and do another one." Daar voegt Horn nog aan toe dat "the story is everything and we are very respectful of Chris. We have a wonderful relationship with him and we are going to be respectful of his timing and we want to get it right. Also, I think the fans expect that - they want us to make a terrific movie - we have to give them another great movie."

Over Superman is Alan Horn niet echt duidelijk, maar uit zijn reactie zou opgemaakt kunnen worden dat een vervolg op Superman Returns of een roboot niet hoog op de agenda van WB staat: "Probably in the next couple of years. We're very anxious to bring Superman back also."

Wel wordt redelijk duidelijk dat Green Lantern de eerst volgende superhelden film zal zijn van Warner Bros: "I think Green Lantern is probably the best guess but I can't promise it at this moment." Waar hij nog aan toevoegt: "On the runway. Hasn't taken off yet, but we're close."

Op de vraag of de plannen rond Justice League: Mortal al duidelijk zijn, reageert Horn helder: "Not Yet". Justice League moet de tegenhanger worden van The Avengers, de 'superheldenverzamelfilm' van concurrent Marvel.
