Op het forum van AVPGalaxy zijn enkele nieuwe setfoto's opgedoken van de Alien prequel Prometheus. De foto's zijn genomen op de set op en rond Hekla, de grootste en bekendste vulkaan van IJsland, waar de opnames momenteel plaatsvinden.

De Amerikaanse bioscooprelease van Prometheus staat gepland voor 8 juni 2012. De cast bestaat uit o.a. Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba en Charlize Theron.
