Early buzz on the film is that Thomas Jane pulls off the intensity of the character well. "The Punisher's super-powers come from his resolve," Arad said. "It's totally emotion, moreso than any of our characters you've seen. When he puts on that skull, it's a subtle transformation, but he's going out to mete punishment."[/eng]
