Volgens Variety heeft de productiemaatschappij van Leonardo DiCaprio de rechten gekocht van 'All for a Few Perfect Waves'. Dit boek dat nog moet verschijnen vertelt het verhaal van de surfer Miki Dora. Het is zeer waarschijnlijk dat Leonardo deze rol voor zijn rekening zal nemen.
