Puff Daddy liet al eerder weten dat de wereld klaar is voor een zwarte James Bond, maar door gebrek aan respons en bevestiging van niet alleen de Bond-producers heeft de rapper/producer besloten de boel zelf maar op poten te zetten.

P. Diddy was gisteren te gast bij Late Night with Conan O'Brien en had het volgende te melden:

[eng]I read that you wanna be the first black James Bond in the movies. Is that true?
"Yes. Definitely."

James Bond is English. Would you do it with an accent?
"No, no, no. We gon' remix the whole situation. We gon' change the name."

Change the name?
"Yes. It's a new time. We're taking the Bond imprint of what he stood for, but we gon' remix it. My name's gonna be Robert Ground."

So instead if saying: Bond, James Bond, you're gonna say: Ground, Robert Ground.
"Robert Ground. It's serious. I'm about to announce the deal next week."[/eng]
