Stel je even voor dat Team America: World Police een Britse film zou zijn en zich zou afspelen tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Dan zou je zoiets krijgen als Jackboots on Whitehall, een film vol met poppen waarin een afwijkende vertelling wordt gedaan van WO II (zoals Inglourious Basterds dat ook al deed). In de film willen Goering, Goebbels en Himmler een tunnel graven onder het Engelse kanaal door, om zo door te dringen tot het hart van Londen terwijl het leger hier net vertrokken is. Een klein groepje bewoners zet alles op alles om de nazi's alsnog tegen te houden.
De stemmen voor de poppen werden verzorgd door Ewan McGregor, Timothy Spall, Rosamund Pike, Tom Wilkinson en Dominic West. De dankbare taak om Hitler van stembanden te voorzien gaat naar Alan Cumming. De broers Edward en Rory McHenry schreven en regisseerden.
