MTV sprak met Shia LaBeouf over zijn rol in Transformers 3. De hoofdrolspeler van dit voorlopig laatste deel in de franchise, trekt alle registers open om ons ervan te doen overtuigen dat het écht heel goed wordt. Zoals bekend was een groot gedeelte van de wereldbevolking niet heel erg te spreken over deel 2 (Shia trouwens zelf ook niet). Maar dat ligt dus nu allemaal achter ons.

"This is, and I'm not just BS-ing you, it's the best movie we've made of the three by far. The script is the best script we've had. The second movie, we were in the middle of a writers' strike, writing on the go. The first movie, we had the discovery, and this movie really is the fruition of the rhythm we've created out of five years working together. I'm super proud of this movie."

Overigens liet Shia terloops nog wel even vallen dat TF3 zijn laatste robot-avontuur wordt. Transformers 3 draait volgend jaar zomer in de Nederlandse bioscoop.
