Na de Producers Guild of America (PGA) heeft nu ook de Directors Guild of America (DGA) zijn nominaties bekendgemaakt. Vijf regisseurs komen in aanmerking voor de 'DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for 2009'. De winnaar wordt bekendgemaakt op 30 januari in het Hyatt Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
