Ook deze maand weer veel goeds op Blu-Ray! De maand april wordt afgetrapt met Walt Disneys animatietopper Wreck-it Ralph (ook in 3D), die niet veel later wordt gevolgd door Sony's eveneens vermakelijke animatiefilm Hotel Transylvania (ook in 3D). Andere fraaie en succesvolle titels zijn Lawless, Pitch Perfect, Les Miserables, Life Of Pi (ook in 3D) en The Impossible. Ook de Nederlandse titels Koning Van Katoren, De Groeten Van Mike! en Het Bombardement verschijnen op de HD schijf. De allergrootste release is uiteraard die van The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (ook in 3D), officieel op 17 april.

Bij de catalogus titels lijkt het deze maand iets mager. Na de eerdere boxset verschijnen de afzonderlijke Jurassic Park films nu ook los op Blu-Ray. Andere grote HD releases zijn Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List en In The Name Of The Father. Bij de series vallen vooral de seizoenen op van Homeland, Firefly, Alcatraz, Sons Of Anarchy en American Horror Story.
