Ook al is David Yates' Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 zo goed als af, toch valt er nog wel eens wat nieuws over te vertellen. Het is nu bevestigd dat Kelly MacDonald te zien zal zijn als The Gray Lady, ook wel The Ghost of Ravenclaw. De actrice is o.a. bekend van Trainspotting en No Country For Old Men. Momenteel boekt ze succes met haar werk in de dramaserie Boardwalk Empire.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 moet in Nederland op 14 juli 2011 uit gaan komen. Deel 1 draait momenteel in de Nederlandse bioscopen; hieronder nog eens de trailer:
