J.A.R.V.I.S., wat staat voor Just A Rather Very Intelligent System, is de computer sidekick van Tony Stark in Jon Favreau's Iron Man films. Hij wordt ingesproken door Paul Bettany en laatstgenoemde weet nu te melden dat dit ook het geval zal zijn in Joss Whedons The Avengers. Het is echter niet zo dat hij zich hier enorm op hoeft voor te bereiden.
"This is pretty much the way it always goes... I never get the call until literally about a month or two before the movie comes out, and then they bring me in once everything else is done. I'm literally the last person hired. It's exactly like voicing animation, except I don't even have to sync to anything. It's the easiest gig in the world."
