In een interview met SuperHeroHype hebben Thor-acteurs Chris Hemsworth, Jaimie Alexander en Tom Hiddleston zich uitgesproken over hun (mogelijke) rol in The Avengers, de aankomende superheldenfilm waarin de populairste personages van Marvel Comics worden samengebracht.

Chris Hemsworth (Thor): "We start shooting in a couple of weeks, which I knew that we were going to do when I signed on for 'Thor,' but it's certainly on the forefront now as the next challenge with another big group of actors that I admire hugely. I'm very excited."

Jaimie Alexander (Sif): "I can't talk about that. And the funny thing is, it's because I don't know. A lot of times they don't tell us things until the very end, so I can safely say I have no clue. It would be awesome, though. I'd be totally willing to do it."

Tom Hiddleston (Loki): "I will be [heading to Albuquerque] soon. That is a dead-set certainty. I'm so excited. Loki has big plans... and it's going to take eight superheroes to stop him this time as opposed to just his chunky brother."

De cast van The Avengers bestaat voorlopig uit Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) en Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury).
