Een van de meest gewilde acteurs op dit moment lijkt Sam Worthington te zijn. Naast dat hij binnenkort te zien is in Terminator Salvation, heeft hij een rol in Avatar (James Cameron) en in Clash of the Titans (Louis Leterrier).

Sam Worthington over het gerucht dat hij mogelijk in de huid kruipt van Hal Jordan a.k.a. The Green Lantern: "I've been talking to (director) Martin Campbell about it," Worthington said when asked if he had been approached about the role. "It's one of those things where they're still doing the script. I said, 'Give me a script. Let me have a look at it.' I like Martin a lot. I met him on the Bond stuff, and I like his work, but the second step is, 'Is it a movie that I'd go and see?'"

Overigens wordt ook Bradley Cooper uit de binnenkort te verschijnen komedie The Hangover in verband gebracht met de superheldenfilm, die op 17 juni 2011 moet uitkomen.
