Het lijkt zo langzamerhand de nieuwe 'goldrush' voor de filmmaatschappijen: 3D. Vandaag maakte Paramount bekend ook 'diep' na te denken over Transformers 3 in 3D.

Bay's next project is "Transformers 3," and there have been discussions among Bay, Paramount and Industrial Light & Magic about going 3D with the pic. The big stumbling block is the extra time required to do production and visual effects in 3D, as the movie's release date is already set. Having the pic post-converted could alleviate that problem.

Tevens komt Warner Bros. vandaag met een officieel lijstje van films die een 3D versie naar de bioscoop gaan brengen. Clash of the Titans (2D en 3D), Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 en Part 2.
